Lee & Wolfe Web Awards

No... we didn't win the "Best Impersonation of a Radio Talent" award. But we did submit our site to a bunch of other sites that give awards, just to see if anyone liked what they saw, and to see if any of those sites were ran by real, live, human beings who looked at your site, or by programs that selected EVERYONE for an award just to get links back to them. For every award notification we got (any we got quite a many!), we wrote back to ask if there was a person on the other end. The result? Most were commercial, and many were "web promotion" sites. Most sites are set up to give awards to all who ask, in order to collect links, with no person ever even looking. But we got responses from two exceptions: Stacie's Designs, and ArtReality.com.

Here's what they said, and how they responded to our questions of legitimacy...

We truly thank both these individuals for their compliments. Sure, we haven't won Tony awards for our bit parts in "Rent," but a real human's compliment is always the best.
