| Lee recalls going grocery shopping with his mom, where he and Wolfe ran into each other and had a grand adventure. Was there ever a time where Lee wasn't carrying a tape recorder? (6:46) | |||||||||
| This clip is another painful memory for Lee. A listener wrote in to tell of her brother's pending operation, asking if Lee & Wolfe could do anything to lift his spirits. Lee mentioned that he had never undergone an operation, unless you count having a tooth pulled as a kid. Wolfe remembered a specific tooth-pulling event from their childhood, and of course had a tape of it. Despite Lee's protests, the following clip of that particular tooth-pulling was played. (This clip also won Lee & Wolfe the 1997 NACB Radio Award for Creative Production!) (2:13) | |||||||||
| One would think that a child would enjoy Halloween of all holidays. The free candy, dressing up in a costume... Hear why Lee will never like Halloween again. (1:35) | |||||||||
| One of the reasons that Lee is such a champion-level bowler today is that his mom took him to bowling lessons early as a child. Here's how it all got started. (4:59) | |||||||||
| Lee treats Wolfe to a down-home, rip-roarin', backwoods good time for his 7th birthday. (2:17) | |||||||||
| Odd how Lee is the only person to win a potato sack race all by himself and as the sole participant... (1:25) | |||||||||
| While discussing spring break vacations, Lee recalled not-so-fondly a trip he made as a kid with some family to Panama City. Naturally, Wolfe had a tape of it and was more than ready to embarass Lee. | |||||||||
| Lee's childhood was tough. Really tough. 'Nuff said. | |||||||||
| Lee's mother was the original inspiration for his comedic talents. What you may not have known is that this muse can be a cruel mother... 1:12 | |||||||||
| Lee's mother only wanted the best for her little boy. Either that, or she didn't feel like paying out the good money that goes into regular public schools. 3:18 | |||||||||
