Joker's Ball was an event organized here in Tuscaloosa to showcase local and regional bands doing ORIGINAL music. Original music has a hard time getting attention here in TuscaVegas, so we were more than happy to say "yes" when asked to MC the shindig. Of course, we say "yes" quite readily to lots of things. Can't necessarily put pictures up here from everytime we said "yes."
So we showed up ready to go with our goofy hats and handfuls of notes on important topics. And, of course, a sucker.
Additional notes were made as the sucker was depleted. How many licks does it take?
With all the clowning around, makeup had to happen. Wolfe requested that his face match his tattoo in some way.
Lee also gave in to peer pressure and underwent a painting. The face artist recited a poem, which was pretty cool, while painting Lee's face, but apparently his breath overshadowed the message.
The result. He's ready for a Mel Gibson movie.
Pretty cool theme for a concert. Click this image for an enormously large (1156X1751) version.
Kings of the Killer Fish performed at the Joker's Ball, after being on our show. To see a video of their in-studio Lee & Wolfe performance, go to the video page.
