Journey to the NACB Radio Awards, Providence, Rhode Island

A long, arduous journey, indeed, thanks to USAir and mother nature. I'd go into detail about it now, to better explain the experience, but I'd like to avoid Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. But hey, we won TWO national awards! Lee, Wolfe, and the interns were on the trip.

Da Wang! None of us were airline experts at the beginning of the trip, so views out the window were still amazing, like this foggy scene.
We love 7am. (Lee, Intern Heather) After spending a night in Charlotte, NC, because of the weather and the incompetence of USAir employees there, we were up cheerfully for a 7am flight. Weeeee!!!
What do dis do? Wolfe sat alone in the Charlotte airport, sulking and trying to understand the camcorder.

State Capitol, Providence, Rhode Island The interns went sightseeing when we finally arrived in Providence. In the non-Alabama-like cold, they only managed 3 pictures. This one is of the state capitol.

Our show got cancelled. The NACB 1997 National Radio & TV Awards was hosted by these two guys from some show that isn't on MTV anymore. They were really, really funny, however.
We'd like to thank all the little people. Lee & Wolfe accept the award for DJ Aircheck. Lee also takes a moment to respond to disparaging remarks about the south made by the MTV guys. :-)
Who da men? When you're exhausted from a bad trip, and ticked off at the drunk dumb-asses dominating the festivities, AND feeling like all the seminars were a waste of time, you've earned the right to linger on stage and pose for a picture with your award.
Ooo-wee, them some purdy people. (Wolfe, Intern Rachael, Lee, Intern Heather) The staff of the Lee & Wolfe show clean up real nice. The intern's dresses and Wolfe's tie were bought at a mall in Charlotte since Wolfe left a hanging bag in the car in Birmingham. For a 1352X1134 version, click here.
