It's a free two hour show featuring new / modern / college / alternative rock, comedy and talk of all sorts, entertainment news, interviews, and live band performances, which has previously won three national awards from the NACB, and which you can play in any weekly slot you like. In addition, the show will include contributions from college radio folks everywhere, highlighting the best. What type of contributions? Everything. (See How to Participate: What to Send.) The show is hosted by us, Lee Overstreet and Wolfe Kincaid. It originates at WVUA, New Rock 90.7, at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Well, first, we think it’s an entertaining show you and your listeners will enjoy, with the content mentioned above.

Secondly, and more importantly for you, is the chance to take part in a nationally syndicated show by, for, and all about college radio. There are plenty of college radio people out there working hard to make their station / show the best, and are doing very creative things in the process. These things need to be shared with the world.

Also, this is yet another aspect of radio that is rarely touched upon in college: working with and running a syndicated show. It looks quite nice on a resume to say you have experience running (producing locally) and writing for, a nationally syndicated show. All of this can be done via Lee & Wolfe.

Lastly… show off! You’ve done something cool on air, so share! College radio is pretty much the only place to hear things like drama, live music, and more, and is certainly the only alternative voice on many issues. Had the coolest band ever play on your station? Write the finest spoken word poem? Produce the slickest, most interesting campus story? Do something with audio we’ve never even thought of? We wanna hear it!

Any college station, commercial or non-commercial, broadcast or online, and any non-commercial "community" radio station, including "pirate" low-power stations or websites may play the show. Staff, DJ, director, or any other volunteer at such stations can submit material for inclusion.
